  • Activated 12 November 1943 at Cheddington, Hertfordshire [sic], using the personnel and equipment of the concurrently disbanded Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron, 2901st CCRC (Bomb) (Provisional) [assigned to the Eighth Air Force 20 August 1943 and further assigned to 8th Bomber Command 22 August 1943]
  • At Cluntoe by 9 February 1944
  • Redesignated 29 July 1944 as the 2d Replacement and Training Squadron CCRC Group (Bomb)
  • Moves to Boreham, Essex, circa 15 September 1944
