442d Quartermaster Platoon, Air Depot Group

  • Unit Data Card indicates embarked 3 August 1943 on the HMT Aquitania at the New York Port of Embarkation and sailed the next day, arriving 11 August 1943 at Firth of Clyde where it reembarked 11-12 August on the Man of Orleans
  • Arrived Firth of Clyde 11 August 1943 (sailed from New York Port of Embarkation 26 July)
  • Reported as embarked, but destination Greencastle 6 August 1943 (canceling 2 August projection of station as Langford Lodge)
  • Unit Data Card indicates it landed at Warrenpoint on 12 August 1943 and proceeded to Army Air Force Station #237 in County Down where it remained from 13 August 1943 until 30 October 1943
  • Unit Data Card indicates it reembarked 30 October 1943 at Larne and/or Warrenpoint on a British vessel that landed it at Stranraer, Scotland, on 31 October
  • At Warton, Lancastershire, by 14 October 1943 (Unit Data Card [based on accurate Morning Reports] states that it wet via Lytham, England, on 31 October and arrived at Warton [which was Army Air Force Station 582] on 31 October)
